The successful candidate will be an intelligent and motivated sales executive who will be responsible for driving strategically growing revenue streams and generating sales whilst correspondingly working on large event launches.

Your key responsibilities will be as follows:

* Generating sales from an identified list and sourcing own leads/prospects
* Conducting on-going sales activity and close via the telephone, as well as understanding the consultative sales process
* Responsibility for developing established relationships as well as sourcing and qualifying new business
* Writing and sending effective sales proposals
* Contributing towards the creation of profitable new features for the events
* Analyzing the market and identifying opportunities for potential exhibitors as well as identifying and researching new growth areas
* Proactively designing and implementing rebook programmes for each event
* Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with exhibitors, sponsors and partners, and work closely with the content department
* Responsible for updating and maintaining the floor-plan
* Attending industry events

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

* A solid understanding and ability to demonstrate core sales skills
* Previous business to business sales experience in a sales capacity
* Creative salesperson with the ability to think outside of the box and discover new unexploited opportunities
* A drive to succeed and be passionate about growth
* Good negotiation skills with ability to deal with objections and close
* Professional standard of presentation at all times
* Administration skills - organised and well-prepared
* Car is a must
