Description


Candidate must have a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree and have an experience of 5 to 1o years in Procurement and Estimation.

Main Tasks:

Develop team work and balance the strengths of individuals, allocating responsibilities as appropriate
Distribute workloads in the department
Be updated with all new norms, standards, specifications, equipment, material,etc
Estimation:
1) Prepare pre-qualification documents, Review / assess technical Specifications, BOQ and Drawings to estimate the cost of electrical and mechanical works of projects, Quantity takeoff, overheads, manpower, 2) prepare technical offer including value engineering deviations, clarifications, scope of supply and work, and a commercial offer including price breakdown with payment terms and conditions, schedule of work, performance/equipment warranty, offer validity and confidentiality agreement
3) Meet with clients (with the general manager) to negotiate prices
Procurement:

1) Receive offers from suppliers and compare quotations, prices and technical specifications
2) Select the mechanical equipment and electrical systems, prepare material submittals complying to specs
3) Assure that the company always gets the best prices by conducting regular local market research
4) Coordinate with Project Manager for scheduling, material submittal log sheet, shop drawing log sheet
5) Check and sign POs and invoices
