Role Summary :

Responsible for applying all company’s processes and steps of service that will guarantee an exceptional experience for Bar Tartine customers.

Duties Summary:

-Follows literally the service steps as per operations service standards from greeting, seating the customer, offering menus, taking orders, presenting bills and giving exact change
-Gives all necessary information on menu items
-Takes orders accurately from customer and suggests promoted items in applying up-selling steps as per guidelines
-Makes sure served items match customers’ orders
-Plan and manage work to accomplish assigned tasks
-Proper shift hand over of the stations and section
-Effectively priorities tasks
-Priorities tasks effectively
-Serves the customer with utmost politeness and friendliness
-Seeks feedback from customer through both table visit and comment card
-Reports customers’ complaints to manager and follows up on resolution
-Informs the Floor Manager of any incident with the customer
-Suggests new ideas of how to serve customers better
-Continuously smiling to customer
-Applies company alcoholic policy
-Provide accurate information to customers
-Stays active and alert during shift
-Cashes customers’ bills properly
Responsible of total end of day sales
-Punches immediate and accurate orders on POS
-Responsible of proper materials handling Maintains section cleanliness prior, during, and after the shift
-Maintains personal hygiene all the time
-Handover a clean and full station Applies all guidelines for food safety and sanitation in food handling
-Maintains good condition of condiments and utensils used in the section
-Informs the manager of any shortage in utensils stock
-Attends all required meetings and implement discussed points
-It is forbidden to communicate confidential points to any customer or other related restaurants peers
-Shows respect and courtesy to others
-Work under pressure
-Owns responsibility for the job and promote brand image

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma, technical school, college degree or ongoing studies.
Hospitality degree is a plus.
