Description


Oversees Technical office unit
 RFIs: review and monitor initial RFI’s
 Shop drawings:
 Ensure all required shop drawings are identified and scheduled
 Monitor quality of deliverable and ensure timely delivery
 Ensure proper logging is done and follow-up on previously submitted SD
 Material submitting
 Ensure all required Materials submitting are identified and scheduled
 Ensure timely delivery
 Ensure proper logging is done and follow-up on previously submitted MS
 As-built preparation
 Archiving of projects’ documents
 Design projects:
 Handle relation with clients
 Identify party (whether technical office or external party) who will handle
 Ensure design complies with client’s requirements
 Tendering: review issues raised by Tendering unit and provide feedback (including meeting suppliers to explain/identify requirements)
 Site involvement:
 In all projects:
 Be part of the staff allocation on projects
 Monitor handover of Drawings to site and provide recommendations
 Overseeing scheduling
 Solve all technical issues that site teams are facing in all projects whether thru site visits, attending specific site meetings or queries in the office or over the phone
 In case time allows:
 Oversees full execution of projects
 Be part of the recruitment process related to TO and site teams
 Be part of the selection of suppliers process
 Review and implement existing procedures related to TO and projects he is handling
