Position: Social Media Specialist
1. Job Description
A vibrant, motivated and passionate community manager to handle the company’s Social Media channels. Tasks will include creating content strategy along with the Sales and Marketing Manager, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and cultivating leads and sales.
The candidate must be digital-oriented and creative, with expertise in the application of social media strategies.
1) Setting clear objectives and goals:
a. Growth of fan base
2) Ensuring great, consistent, and compelling design.
3) Ensuring a solid content strategy taking into consideration our brand and our customers
4) Curating the best promotion strategy to grow our fan base.
5) Curating the best engagement strategy by listening, responding, asking questions, and engaging our audience
6) Converting fans to customers i.e. the best conversion strategy
7) Measure and analyze ROI on weekly basis.
3. Essential Duties
Applying and developing strategies to increase engagement and interaction
Day-to-day management and development of editorial content on social media platforms, including tweets, posts and discussions
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
Actively engaging customers and influencers within the company’s social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter)
Using Facebook ads tools to effectively attract new fans to the page
Becoming an advocate for the Company in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate. Covering all the company’s events, exhibitions, conferences, and seminars
Using social media monitoring tools to monitor trends, conversations and report on metrics
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field required. Masters degree is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentations skills
Experience with social tools (Blogs, Discussions, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and GooglE+)
Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company’s field
Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format
Exceeds in building and maintaining sales relationships, online and offline
Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including key word search
Computer proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Adobe PhotoShop
Excels at research, possesses excellent writing skills
Interest in digital/technological field
