CPH World Media, an Information Provider media company founded in 1977 and dedicated to advance MENA & Beyond through publishing industry-specific media related to water, construction, ICT, food, health & transport among others. CPH provides relevant and up-to-date information, news, data, reviews & analysis through printed and online media which include magazines, directories, portals, services, research and events.
a. Supervising, managing & developing ER Department functions, processes and its members to ensure optimum performance levels at highest-possible quality of work with respect to all ER related projects (print & digital / online).
b. Ensure that all online content – including social media channels - and user experiences are strategic, targeted, engaging and consistent with corporate strategies and brand guidelines.
c. Supervise & Collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues and content providers across the organization to grow CPH’s print and online content and audience.
d. Work closely with ER members to ensure that all print & online content - including multimedia and local demand-generation material with special focus on social media channels - is strategic, targeted, engaging, and consistent with corporate web strategies, brand guidelines and best practices.
e. Generate, edit & proof-read content in addition to creating site promotions, email newsletters and online marketing campaigns.
f. Processing of information content (Articles, Press Releases, etc…) from various sources.
g. Research up-to-date & relevant information for CPH media products from various sources.
h. Communicating with various entities for content & research projects.
i. Managing, Preparing & Publishing Content in print and digital formats.
j. Make sure CPH media products are published with no delays ensuring that deadlines are met.
k. Ensure to abide by relevant processes and to develop them whenever necessary to improve work production and efficiency as well as increase productivity.
l. Formulate ER processes & business plan; coordinates, and directs ER activities and leads as well as supervise team members who assist in various tasks and projects.
m. Edits and proofreads articles, reports, editorials, reviews, and other material. Reads and evaluates material submitted for publishing consideration.
n. Determines placement of content based on relative significance and available space.
o. Working in tandem with other departments and prepare content for promotions, direct marketing (email, newsletter), advertisements as well as website content, etc.
II. Required Skills
a. Experience in digital content management & publishing across various media types & formats (print & online).
b. Experience in digital media especially social media platforms.
c. Creative thinking and copy writing / content creation from concepts to taglines.
d. Excellent research (quantitative & qualitative) and information gathering skills.
e. Experience in editing and proofreading and copy writing and creating original content.
f. Excellent computer skills especially Windows, Microsoft Office & Adobe InCopy.
a. University Graduate with a degree of any of the following: Translation or Languages, Journalism, Mass Media, Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, or similar major…Master’s degree preferred.
b. Excellent command of English & Arabic Languages (Written and spoken) – French language is a plus.
c. Very good computer skills (MS Windows, MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project…) and internet research skills and usage of Content Managements Systems (CMS).
d. 4+ years’ experience in a similar position in a renowned media company.
e. Serious, dedicated, self-motivated and a team player.
IV. Work Phases
a. 3 months’ probation period:
i. NSSF Subscription: Enrollment 10 working days after start of cooperation.
b. 1 year limited-duration work contract – might be renewed for additional one year after it expires based on work performance and business contribution during previous year.
i. Transportation fees of 8000 LBP are provided after probation period (per working day)

a. M-F: 8:30am to 5:30pm with ½ hour lunch break from 1:00pm to 1:30 pm or from 1:30 to

i. Holidays & yearly vacation available according to Lebanese Government regulations
ii. One hour off work schedule during the holy month of Ramadan
iii. Summer schedule (July & August) would be from 8:30am to 4:30pm with same lunch break
