Reporting to : General Manager Candidate must be aggressive and have good records of Sales achievements. Please find below other criteria for the Sales & Marketing Head candidate.
He/She will be a team leader charged with the task of managing a group of Sales Managers to be as effective as possible. He/She must be high-level executive whose role entails crafting national sales plans, justifying those plans to CEO and/or Top Management Committee, and supervising Regional Sales Managers to ensure that they are leading and mentoring their teams successfully.
The Sales & Marketing Head will play as one of visionary, but pragmatist. He/She will be looking to create growth and find ways of actually doing it. He must understand markets and supply chains. He/She must also understand the internals working of his department – from top to bottom and inside out.
We prefer someone for this position who likes a challenge and is excited by the thought of reaching company objectives through his sales leadership. Looking to grow the business and responsible towards making profit.
1. Implementing strategies, policies and other management directives and initiatives;
2. Enforcing budgetary controls;
3. Enforcing all prescribed systems, policies and procedures for an effective and efficient financial management;
4. Coordinating with Sales and Marketing on pricing, discounting, and credit policies to ensure that prices, discounts and credit structures are authorized, documented and justified;
5. Periodically reviewing costs and making recommendations on price increases;
6. Liaising and building relationships with banks and other financial institutions to ensure speedy processing of transactions that require bank intermediation;
7. Directing and supervising finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated, trained and developed, and are able to carry out responsibilities to required standards and statutory requirements;
8. Anticipating issues and challenges, and recommending appropriate courses of action;
-Bs Degree in Marketing
-3 years experience in cosmetics or Soap sales management in Nigeria
