The Medical representative will be the key point of contact between the company and the pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare professionals. His/her role will consist in promoting product awareness, answering queries, providing advice, introducing new products, persuading customers (doctors & pharmacists) by selling our products, and providing after-sales services.
1. Promotion and communication:
-Execute monthly visits to the related medical specialities to communicate information on products and diseases in order to deliver the right messages.
-Organize and attend local and international roundtables and conferences in order to promote the company’s products.
-Build and maintain a positive working relationship with medical staff and support the administrative staff in order to leverage brand names of the company’s products and increase prescriptions.
-Review, segment and target existing customers’ in order to increase efficiency and ROI in relation to the cost of visits.
-Recruit new customers to increase prescriptions and achieve sales growth.
2. Data Collection:
-Collect information about product efficiency and safety in order to report any adverse event.
-Monitor competitors’ activities and submit monthly reports to be able to develop action plans
-Collect data about doctors prescribing habits to develop a plan
Submit daily reports using the Medical Representative Application about the performed visits to ensure that all the doctors are being visited as per preset cycle.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
-Bachelor degree in Pharmacy
-2 years of experience in the sales field, preferably in a similar industry.
-Knowledge in disease and pharmacology
-Fluent in Arabic, French and English
-Selling and negotiating skills
-Ability to be brief and speak clearly
