M. Ezzat Jallad & Fils was first established as a commission house in 1873, it later developed into an import/export organization for agriculture, industrial & construction equipment.
In 1929, the company entered into an agreement with Caterpillar® to become the exclusive dealer in Lebanon. This was followed by distribution agreements for other world-renowned products related to the same line of business.
The company expanded further in 1950 and opened a new branch in Zahle, moved its headquarters from
Beirut to Zouk Mkayel in 1970, then opened another branch in Saida in 1979, and an outlet in Hadat in 2012.
It also expanded in the Levant Region and formed in 1945, M. Ezzat Jallad & Fils – Pour Le Commerce Et La Representation in Syria. In 1953, Jordan Tractor & Equipment Company Ltd. was established, and in 1995, Palestinian Tractor & Equipment Company Ltd. was formed.
