Task and Responsibilities:
» Establish the level and survey control for contracts.
» Review and monitor initial RFI’s.
» Double check the quantities mentioned in the RFI's along with the ones installed on site.
» Ensure all required shop drawings are identified and scheduled.
» Monitor quality of deliverable and ensure timely delivery.
» Ensure proper logging is done and follow-up on previously submitted SDS.
» Monitor handover of Drawings to site and provide recommendations
» Ensure all required Materials submitting are identified and scheduled
» Ensure timely delivery
» Ensure proper logging is done and follow-up on previously submitted MS
» As-built preparation
» Archiving of projects’ documents
» Ensure that records are accurate and comply with organizational and legal requirements.
» Checking IPC’s submitted by the subcontractor and handling the exact quantities to the contractor Quantity surveyor to add it in the contractor IPC.
» Be part of the staff allocation on projects.
» Discussing and solving complex problems with sub-contractors, suppliers and customers in all projects whether thru site visits, attending specific site meetings or queries in the office or over the phone
» Considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints;
» Working and assisting with other professionals, within and outside the engineering sector;
» Monitoring and commissioning plant and systems.
» Monitor the MEP subcontractor on site.
» Issue daily reports for all types of works occurring on sites.
» Set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis
» Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
» ensure site have adequate resources to complete the tasks
» Produce 2 week look ahead in conjunction with the Site Agent and the planning department.
» Comply with company procedures and legal obligations
» Promote and comply with environmental compliance
» Deliver the works safely and to deadline
» High level of technical and scientific knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems.
» Good oral communication skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of people, including contractors, directors and plant operators.

» BE in mechanical engineering or electro-mechanical engineering
» 3 years of experience in the field.
