Job summary:
The PMO Project Manager will be part of the PMO team overseeing the full project management life cycle for the development and implementation of strategic organization wide projects. The PMO Project Manager will assist in the development of companywide processes, procedures and templates to streamline the project management process. The PMO Project Manager will supervise the execution of the Project Life Cycle and enforce the company’s policies and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensure project compliance to the defined policies and procedures while promoting adopted/approved PMO templates for project management artifacts

• Assist the PMO Director in enforcing the usage of project management tools and project management governance through continuous monitoring of tasks, time entries, administration manuals, training documents and project documents throughout the project management life cycle

• Manage relationships with sponsors, suppliers, customers and other key stakeholders across the business to ensure project success

• Under the supervision of the PMO Director, oversee all aspects of project management related to own projects including requirements gathering, work planning, communication, issue resolutions, cost tracking, and change management

• With guidance from the PMO Director, develop the project charter that is required to initiate own projects

• Coordinate with GlobeMed core business functions to assist in the articulation of their business needs into projects (Medical Rules, Claims Processing…)

• Assist and monitor the business requirements gathering and articulation

• Submit timely projects status reports

• Update projects dashboard and related metrics

• Escalate issues to the PMO Director

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Business
• PMP Certification is required
• 3-5 years of experience in Project Management in a dynamic environment
• Prior exposure to Health Insurance industry is a plus.

• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
