We are looking for a Night Auditor to join our team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Verifies that all transactions performed at the front desk are supported by documentary evidence and signatures as necessary and that they have been correctly posted and allocated on the system
•Posts charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift.
•Verifies that room rates are correct and posts those rates to guest accounts.
•Reconciles room revenues with the Receptionists’ reports
•Verifies all charges posted by Front Office Agents in guest files by checking the supporting documents.
•Prepares a summary report on daily room revenue, other charges and credits.
•Receives all posted guest checks from Outlet Cashiers; verifies prices and accounts for each in the check list.
•Verifies all account postings and balances.
•Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics.
•Checks to see that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments.
•Prepares the daily preliminary revenue report, reflecting the overall revenue of the Hotel.
•Ensures that all guests are provided with a courteous and professional service at all times during the night shift.
•Supervises the employees within the department during the night shift, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained
•Represents the Hotel's Management as host to guests by personally welcoming and offering services to as many guests as and when possible.
•Receives, records and acts on guest complaints
•Records and Monitors and Reports on all unusual occurrences, irregularities and illegitimate activities.
•Summarizes results of operations for management.
•Understands principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or any other related field
•Previous Experience in Hospitality is a Plus
•Minimum experience of 2 years is a Plus
