Description


OBJECTIVE:
The Communication Officer is responsible for conveying information to internal and external audiences by preparing and producing messages and publications

DUTIES:
* Update social media and website content
* Edit, prepare and send out written communication internally and externally
* Monitor media landscape and breaking news stories related to program activities
* Support in preparing press releases and responses to media enquiries
* Support in events organization
* Assist in preparing communications material for the organization such as brochure, poster, documentary, etc.
* Partake in all caritas activities/events and be in charge of the photography
* Support in administrative tasks
* Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

* Excellent communication, networking, and inter-personal skills
* Innovative and creative thinking in relation to communication
* Basic photography knowledge
* Proven fluency in writing and editing skills in English, French and Arabic

Computer Skills
* Proficient in MS Office-All applications
* Knowledge in Adobe applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
* At least 2 years of relevant communications related work experience
* Bachelor degree in public relations, business, journalism, communication or another relevant field
