Description


Socodile Holding is looking for an experienced retail supervisor to devise our organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. The training manager will identify training and development needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build loyalty to the firm.

Reporting to the Brand Manager, your primary responsibility will be to:

- Administer effective induction programs for new joiners
- Oversee training programs that include web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos, and more
- Constant follow up on competition and be attentive to what other brands are offering in terms of discounts, animations, events, sales, ..
- Follow up on Beauty Advisors’ needs, complaints and concerns through intensive market visits and communicate the same with the Brand Manager.
- Determine training needs and requirements for an organization or group by meeting with managers, talking with employees, or administering surveys
- Identify and assess future and current training needs
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
- Follow up and evaluate training results and develop new training accordingly
Manage the training budget
- Ensure retail staff are motivated and the teams are representing the brand to the highest standards
- Evaluate individual performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance



Requirements:

- 3+ years of beauty industry sales and/or training experience required, Strong communication skills
- Proven work experience as a training manager
- Strong make-up artistry skills
- Experience in skincare or cosmetics is preferred but other backgrounds in the consumer and retail sectors are mandatory
- Knowledge of learning and development best practices
- Must be proactive in approaching potential customers and promoting the brand
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to motivate others and work as part of a team
- Track record in executing successful training programs
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Must have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Hours of work must be flexible to meet job objectives
- Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
- Good computer and database skills
- Must be able to travel within an assigned territory
