• Checks daily transactions processed from outlets and other business units of the hotel and ensure that every function is properly posted as per agreement
• Ensures all revenue transactions recorded are consistent, accurate & performed according to the hotel P&P.
• Prepares and issue management reports daily, weekly, monthly and when required
• Posts revenue, cash and statistics journals consistently and update general ledger
• Updates Micros system accordingly as required by the F&B Office & Controller
• Maintains proper filing and adhere to the record retention report
• Reconciles Micros Report with Night Auditor’s Report. Report for any discrepancies, reason & action taken.
• Matches potential Room Revenue Report with Housekeeper’s report of room status- Prepares discrepancy report and investigate differences on daily basis
• Produces daily reports: revenue Journal, Food Cover, Room Statistic
• Checks for sequential control sheet for all the invoices. Checks any function for proper posting and number of covers. For record filing, attach the function copy with copy of the F&B Invoice & send to the Financial Controller.
• Checks the Outlet Cashier report and make sure the Food Covers is filled properly
• Checks for telephone report and make sure it had been properly charged on Guest Folio and check for any discrepancy
• Submits all daily reports, rebates, paid-outs and any other requested report to the Financial Controller
• Balances process at end to ensure all revenue and non-revenue items are accounted for.
• Prepares Journals for month end in relation to revenue and expense items
• Checks and records in-house F&B consumed to be adjusted from cost of sales (i.e: Entertainment)
• Ensures that all required signatures are obtained when filling a form: Requisitions, payments, forms
