NEEDED: FINANCE MANAGER for a leading Financial Institution in Lebanon to be responsible for all finance and accounting activity in the company. This includes the preparation of monthly management reporting, financial planning and analysis as required by the business and group, and responsible for ensuring full policy implementation and documentation of corporate finance policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain the general ledger accounts by monitoring journal entry preparation
• Prepare monthly accruals and entries and reconciling accounts monthly
• Assist with daily invoices for accounts
• Apply customer timely payments
• Process monthly commission statements
• Input deposit and withdrawal transactions of customers
• Monitor client transactions
• Maintain controls over accounting transactions
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Prepare monthly P&L, working capital and balance sheet
• Coordinate forecast and planning schedules for finance and operational teams
• Prepare financial statements and reports as requested by other departments and external parties
• Perform risk management by analyzing the company’s liabilities and investments
• Ensure compliance to taxation and regulatory financial reporting requirements.
• Record tasked financial transactions to regional accounting software and ensure all project related transactions that enter the accounting system are accurate and documented correctly
• Monitor cash dues and preparing related payments
• Assist in annual audit
• Numeric and analytical skills
• Advances excel skills
• Ability to use, develop, and maintain excel based financial templates
• Strong knowledge of core finance principles interest rates, present value, yield, financial ratios.
• Familiar with the Lebanese Chart of Accounts Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• CMA is a must (Certified Management Accountant)
• CFA is desirable
• Minimum of 8 years in relevant experience or in the financial field

• Professional accounting qualifications (ACA, FCA, CA, CIMA, or ACCA) is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
