Director of Sales & Operations for a medical company

Job description

• Maintain solid relations with clients in line with company culture and policies
• Develop and implement business strategy & planning to ensure growth, profitability and operational efficiency
• Set and monitor KPIs across the organization while guiding the team towards ongoing learning and alignment with company culture and procedures
• Oversee the daily operations across all units – Sales, Accounting, Logistics, Biomedical & Marketing
• Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure that image, reputation and all operational requirements are met
• Follow-up regularly on the market pulse, including competitor moves, new market entries, etc. through both the Sales & Marketing teams
• Coordinate with GM all plans of adapting to a declining market, while reassessing and redistributing resources in order to improve efficiency, margins and profitability
• Prepare and present quarterly reports to the board
• Prepare yearly business plans and ensure company alignment with them throughout the year
• Align product orders and supply with market needs and customers’ credit lines
• Follow-up regularly on market trends (competitor moves, new market entries, etc.) and evaluate new ideas that could increase profitability and efficiency
• Meet regularly with field teams (sales, customer support, and engineers) to tackle all issues at hand as well as to align market moves with company’s policies and decisions
• Find new complementary suppliers to the current business, negotiate business cooperation, set business plans in full details

Must have:
-At least 10 years of experience in sales and leading a team
-Motivation to achieve and develop
-Willingness to cover the Lebanese territory in full
-Computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint…)
-Fluency in English and Arabic
