Description


The Medical Representative is responsible for being the key point of contact between HOLDAL and the pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare professionals. He/she is also responsible for product promotion and to create awareness among Healthcare providers (Physicians & Pharmacists).

Key Accountabilities:
1-Promotion and communication:
-Execute monthly visits to the related medical specialists in order to communicate information about products and diseases and to deliver the right messages.
-Coordinate with his/her colleagues in order to organize local and international round tables and conferences and attend them in order to promote the company’s products.
-Build and maintain a positive working relationship with medical staff in order to leverage the company’s products and increase prescriptions.
-Review, segment and target existing customers in order to increase efficiency.
-Recruit new customers to achieve sales growth.
-Prepare and organize their daily sales cycle and communicate it to the Brand Manager for approval.

2-Data Collection:
-Collect information about product efficiency and safety in order to report any adverse event.
-Monitor competitors’ activities and submit monthly reports in order to help in developing action plans accordingly.
-Collect data about doctors’ prescribing habits in order to help the department in developing action plans accordingly.

3-Reporting:
Submit daily reports using the Medical Representative Application indicating the performed visits to ensure that all the doctors are being visited as per preset cycle.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or any scientific field.
-2 years of experience in the sales field, preferably in a similar industry.
-Knowledge in disease and pharmacology.
-Fluent in Arabic and English. French is a plus.
-Great selling and negotiation skills.
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to be brief and speak clearly.
-Great time management skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel).
