• Initiate, develop, coordinate and implement strategies to maintain and/or expand sales; search of sales leads and prospects and penetrate new markets
• Prepare a plan for each account to identify what and how short and long term needs may be met.
• Provide competitive and consistent pricing on all completed prospect proposals/offers
• Maintain all pricing records and take corrective measures to ensure global consistency
• Provide reports on the budget and sales activity for a given period of time.
• Interface with customers to understand their overall objectives and requirements.
• Contact customers on a regular basis to maintain account relationship, advise of new product and service offerings, and obtain feedback; maintain high levels of customers satisfaction
• Ensure that sales, project management and contracts, engineering, network operations and network management provide proper post implementation support to assigned accounts / customers, and take appropriate corrective measures where and when necessary
• Serve as a point of escalation for issues or activities that the customer encounters during product/service utilization.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems/complaints.
• Prepare and conduct technical/product/service presentations and demonstrations.
• Create and conduct proposals/offers and RFP responses
• Create/review project/contract terms and conditions; customize particular dealings where and when necessary
• Emphasizes quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
• Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
• Meets monthly and/or yearly sales objectives
