Description


The General Manager for Healthcare Quality is responsible for strategic direction, leadership and operations of all services under the Programs/Portfolio including Quality Improvement (GWTG, Certification, RQI) and Professional Education in KSA. He/she will provide strategic and operational leadership to the HQS team to achieve the defined goals in support of the overall business plan approved by the HQS Director. The GM is responsible for developing and executing sales and growth strategies that achieve revenue goals while supporting the financial, legal, ethical and managerial principals, and regional business best practices.
The GM will identify, develop, and manage relationships with hospitals and other key stakeholders in the country. The Manager serves as a consultant, business developer, educator, and account manager in securing new and maintain existing relationships with hospitals and health systems to maximize their engagement in the suite of Quality Improvement and Professional Education programs. The Manager will be the liaison for the Ministry of Health, cardiology societies and other key stakeholders in the region to ensure that the HQS quality improvement programs are a key priority within their organizations. The HQS GM will have annual revenue and sales goals for KSA.

Lead for the day-to-day business operations of HQS including business strategy and all administrative requirements for in-country compliance with ministries (Banking, Licenses etc.) and manage government relationships. Managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of HQS entity. Implement and improve the operational systems, processes, and policies to facilitate the most effective and efficient delivery organization.

Overseeing, hiring, and training the HQS team; Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff. Understands and ensures staff apply all required contractual requirements; determines the efficiency & effectiveness applicable internal systems
Sales and Growth Opportunities: Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with hospital and health system accounts, and other key healthcare stakeholder activities
Coordinate and conduct GWTG/RQI/Prof Ed engagement activities for medical communities and hospitals in the market; implementation and quality improvement consulting; hospital visits to meet with multidisciplinary teams; conduct report review to highlight progress toward Recognition; presentation of Recognition Certificates; market and promote QI program offerings; all within the context of cultural sensitivity to the Middle East region. Drive RQI portfolio adoption and undertaking successful implementations at customer sites and education of administrators and super users.

Be the PR representative in KSA for all in-country relationships with local stakeholders. Build meaningful and strategic and volunteer relationships to advance the mission of HQS in the region. Provide timely collaboration, direction, framework and resources to strategic partners and volunteers while at the same time relying on their expertise, abilities, and willingness to leverage their resources and networks to drive the goals of the organization.
