- Job Purpose:
Lead the finance department, develop the financial strategy and ensure an operating environment that values profit margins/cash/risk assessment & mitigation while timely seizing worthy opportunities.

- Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Submit quarterly consolidated financial statement (P&L, BS & CF) with needed narratives
2- Work closely with the finance team to improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances to budget/forecast for revenue/margins as well as operating expenses, identifying trends and recommending actions to the companies’ management
3- Work closely with the finance team to ensure on-time presentation of business review sessions
4- Ensure the needed support to the finance team & operations to develop the yearly business plan
5- Focus on assessing, measuring and improving financials; ensure that short and long-term goals are met
6- Review the detailed budget output and provide needed recommendations
7- Provide alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance by setting KPIs (link KPIs to strategy and budgets to ensure that desired strategies reach expected outcome)
8- Prepare quarterly BOD, Audit, Risk and Compliance committee reports
9- Develop financial models and forecasts, support in the Investments studies, Acquisitions, Divestures, Joint Ventures projects (due diligence, feasibility, structuring, financing, integration) if available
10- Provide any financial related support to the different subsidiaries within Malia group
11- Actively support in reviewing legal contracts and providing recommendations on their financial implications
12- Lead on the development of the risk matrix, highlight major risk(s) and work with the operation team to implement preventive actions that mitigate the risk

- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting, MBA is a must

- Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG or Pharmaceutical sector(s)
