The inventory officer assists in preparing the purchase orders, receiving, storing, issuing the goods, and managing the stock levels.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in maintaining Prices and Costs through the system and conducted the required transactions.
Maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse so as to ensure accuracy and completeness
Coordinate the logistics of stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
Execute spot checks and physical inventory and update inventory count through maintaining inventory records to share with management.
Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment.
Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records.
Report discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
Analysing Machines pay outs.
Responsible of fixed assets: creation, purchasing and invoicing with respective accounting data entries.
Filing and archiving documents properly.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline
Related Work Experience
Minimum 3 year of experience in applicable accounting/inventory control experience
Strong command of English – French - Arabic languages
