• Identify new potential suppliers and develop sourcing strategies.
• Create and maintain good relationships with the suppliers providing great opportunities for the company to obtain the best deals from them.
• Compare and evaluate offers received from providers in terms of specs, prices and other factors.
• Initiate and negotiate Exclusivity Agreements and supply contracts while ensuring that the products and supplies are high quality.
• Maintain contracts with vendors.
• Initiate and keep track of the orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Reconcile or resolve order discrepancies with supplies.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and renegotiate prices on a regular basis.
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Keep daily records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Prepare and attend trade shows and conferences to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
• Plan shipments based on product availability and market demand.
• Control and monitor expenses against approved budgets.
• Assess existing procurement operations systems and advise on corrective measures to be undertaken.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• 2+ Years of experience in the field.
• Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysis, problem solving skills, organizational abilities, decision making ability, ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines, attention to details, strong time management skills, negotiation skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to perform duties diligently, particularly during stressful periods.
