The MIS Specialist is responsible for managing and developing the core MIS system and commissioning an appropriate alternative system in order to meet the data and Information requirements of a diverse range of stakeholders. He/She should also maintain and support business systems including assisting users with system and software functionality and technical issues.
−Identify client requirements by establishing personal rapport with internal actual clients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
−Collect data by identifying sources of information; design survey and collection methods.
−Configure and develop ERP & WMS based on business requirements.
−Develop and maintain integration between different platforms using multiple technologies.
−Organize information by studying, analyzing, interpreting, and classifying data.
−Resolve IS problems by altering the design to meet requirements.
−Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
−Prepare references for users by writing operating instructions.
−Maintain historical records by documenting system changes and revisions.
−Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Experience and Skills:
−Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
−3-5 years of experience.
−Fluent in Arabic and English. French is a plus.
−Knowledge in ERP, SQL, and .Net.
−Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems is a must.
−High ethical values: ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
−Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
−Experience with server-client computing and relational database environments.
−Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques is a plus.
