Manages the day-to-day operations of the information technology department including directing staff, who support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other information technology functions
Responsible to repair the nursing call system if any malfunctioning occurs
Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources.
Propose hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives.
Provide orientation to new users of existing technology
Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
Monitor security of all technology and assure a daily back up to all hospital data
Advise staff of security breach and/or change in password or security status
Recover all hospital data if any disaster occurred
Provide network accounts and passwords as required
Train staff about potential uses of existing technology , Train staff about new and potential use, Provide individual training and support on request
Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommends technical solutions.
Respond to any emergency situation occurred in the hospital as well as during a disaster.
Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other hospital departments
