Description


Looking for an Administrative and Procurement Officer for a leading group in the tourism and transportation sector.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Answer phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
• Work with internal team members (operational staff) to determine procurement needs and delivery requirements.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
• Review periodically all venders and suppliers.
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
• Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards.
• Responsible for timely order placement.
• Manage inventory.
• Assist the Executive Assistant in several administrative duties.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or any related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of administrative and/or clerical experience.
• Procurement experience is highly recommended.
Languages:
• English: fluently spoken and written.
• French: fluently spoken and written.
Computer skills:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Outlook and Word).
