Description


The Medical Representative is responsible for being the key point of contact between HOLDAL and the pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare professionals. He/She should also promote product awareness, answer queries, provide advice, introduce new products and persuade customers (doctors & pharmacists) to buy HOLDAL’s products. He/She should reach certain sales targets and provide after-sales services.


Responsibilities:
-Execute monthly visits to the related medical specialists to communicate information about products and diseases and to deliver the right messages.
-Assist the Senior Medical Representative with organizing and attending local and international round tables and conferences to promote the Company’s products.
-Build and maintain a positive work relationship with medical staff to promote the Company’s products and increase prescriptions.
-Assist the Senior Medical Representative with reviewing, segmenting, and targeting existing customers to increase efficiency and return on investment in relation to the cost of visits.
-Recruit new customers to increase prescriptions and achieve sales growth.
-Collect information about product efficiency and safety to report any adverse event.
-Monitor competitors’ activities and submit monthly reports to help the department in developing action plans accordingly.
-Collect data about doctors’ prescribing habits to help the department in developing action plans accordingly.
-Report to the Medical Manager all performed visits to ensure that all doctors are being visited as per the preset cycle.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or any related scientific field.
-1-3 years of experience in the sales field, preferably in a similar industry.
-Knowledge of disease and pharmacology.
-Fluent in Arabic and English. French is a plus.
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to be brief and speak clearly.
-Great selling and negotiation skills.
-Great time management skills.
