Description


We are on the hunt for a talented and reliable maintenance technician to join our maintenance department. In this position, your chief responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises. Your duties will include conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.

Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, and basic tools and appliances. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

-Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
-Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
-Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
-Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
-Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
-Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
-Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.

Requirements:

-Proven experience as maintenance technician
-A minimum of 8 years experience in a similar role.
-In-depth knowledge of electrical and HAVC systems.
-Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
-Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
-Effective problem-solving abilities.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
-Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, great attention to detail, and be proactive.
-Must also be comfortable in a team environment and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
