About the Position:

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) shall act as a scientific expert between the company and the medical community through the dissemination and education of scientific data and material. The MSL uses his/her experience and knowledge to interact with key external medical and pharmacy professionals via one-on-one interaction, small group discussion, symposia lecture presentations, and interactions associated with sponsored medical education programs and research protocols.

Requirements for the role:
• Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy or above.
• At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as an MSL preferred or experience in drug information, clinical research and development, or other clinically relevant activities.
• Fluent in Arabic & English
• Able to develop peer-to-peer relationships with top ranking healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence appropriate plans and actions.
• Ability to work independently and a demonstrated self-starter.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organization skills with thorough attention to detail ensuring timely follow through and closure with Thought Leaders and fellow MSL.
• This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19. 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Exchange and dissemination of scientific, educational, and research related information.
• TL Identification/profiling/segmentation and engagement planning.
• Interactions with Medical Societies and Advisory Boards.
• Participation at/networking in Congresses and Conventions
• Collection of unsolicited Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) ideas and facilitating IIR set-up
• Preparing reports and tracking activities.
• Support market access, clinical research and commercial functions through training and education activities and presentations to external stakeholders, as required
• Monitoring and analyzing the processes and ensuring that the necessary actions are taken for
maintaining, backing up and archiving (or ensuring that they are made) all records under her/his responsibility as determined and destroying the records under his/her responsibility as determined when the retention period expires.
• Fulfilling and implementing responsibilities mentioned in all procedures of the company.
• The process managed in accordance with Company Procedures; s/he is responsible for ensuring that the activities of the inputs and outputs are correct, the resources are sufficient, the process is monitored, the records are kept, the performance is measured and, when necessary, reporting on these issues.
