A waiter or server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any customer complaints or concerns.
Key responsibilities of a waiter include:
• Greeting and seating customers
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders
• Communicating orders to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serving food and beverages to customers
• Maintaining a clean and organized dining area
• Assisting with setting up and breaking down of the dining area
• Providing excellent customer service, addressing any complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Being knowledgeable about the menu and specials
• Following the dress code and grooming standards as established by the restaurant
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a waiter or server, excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a good understanding of food and beverage service, and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
