Responsibilities:
• Customer Relations Management
- In all interactions with third parties and existing or potential customers, promotes the image of the company by demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and technical knowledgeableness, and upholds the high standards of the company.
- Ensure sales representatives of his unit are maintaining and developing good relations with retailers, take appropriate measures to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
- Devise and implement actions plan aimed at extending retailers’ coverage and increasing sales profitability within the commercial strategy and risk policies set by the company.
• Sales
- Set-up sales strategy with clear objectives and targets for his team and provide disciplined follow-up on outcome and performance; initiate a recovery plan when deemed necessary.
- Develop sales, and product promotion with best practices in coordination with the Product Managers.
- Monitor sales activities and take appropriate and timely measures to ensure they are in line with company’s business plan.
- Organize & monitor the sales cycle of the retail sales team on a daily basis by approving sales orders and discounts.
- Ensure POS are being regularly visited and replenished.
- Perform regular field visits to identify clients’ complaints and needs.
• Target Setting & Achievement
- Sets sales targets by product family, stock-keeping unit, retailer and sales representative within the commercial strategy and risk policies set by the company.
- Analyse retail performance by product family, stock keeping unit and sales representative.
- Ensure sales targets are met in terms of quantity and product range.
- Review with sales team their sales targets monthly, determine and explain variations. Set Recovery Plan when deemed necessary.
- Monitor clients’ credit limits and ensure their balances are within the acceptable ranges set by the company.
- Monitor in coordination with sales representatives’ clients’ receivables and take necessary measures to ensure collection targets are in line with company’s financial strategy.
• Aftersales
- Investigate claims of factory defects, take appropriate steps to convey substantiated claims to concerned Product Manager and follow up until a satisfactory solution is reached.
- Supervisor the cycle of clients’ requests for maintenance and repairs, and ensure all technical standards and procedures are respected.
- Oversee the coordinate between the workshop supervisor and the sales team with regards invoicing of maintenance or repair works, spare parts or re-sales (when applicable).
- Participate in the yearly spare part physical stock count and investigate discrepancies when deemed necessary.
• Market Feedback & Reporting
- Monitor Gazzaoui performance and market positioning.
- Provide market feedback regarding customer needs, customer satisfaction, pricing, and competition.
- Advise General Manager and Product Managers regarding new products acquisition and trends.
- Implement the company’s marketing strategy regarding retail and coordinate installation of displays in stores.
- Provide regular market activity reports and surveys.
• Unit Management
- Assist the general manager in setting the unit’s yearly plan and budget.
- Provide direct management of operating teams within his division.
- Live and disseminate company’s values and promote a culture of performance and integrity.
- Develop team skills and learning capabilities through a formal development roadmap; seek to acquire new talent breed and identify high potentials within teams.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of his division; facilitate interaction and communication between departments.
- Set targeted and formal training plans for employees within his division; coach and develop subordinates; promote a culture of excellence and continuous development and seek to retain high performers.
- Initiate requests for recruitment campaigns within his department on a need basis and ensure optimal staffing levels at all times. Conduct final interviews and select best fit candidates in conjunction with General Manager & HR Department.
- Monitor and take necessary measures to enhance performance of subordinates within his division; make sure performance appraisals are administered on a timely basis.
- Monitor all direct costs related to his division, release payments as per authority matrix and advise management on working capital requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on marketing & sales or equivalent.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in similar position.
- Demonstrated ability in (B2B) sales with a solid business acumen.
- Applicable exposure to company’s products and field of activity. Commendable insights into the business environment, market risks and opportunities.
