Under the general direction and guidance of the Rooms Division Director or designate, and within the limits of the established Hotel’s policies and procedures, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for handling an effective and efficient check-in and check-out procedures to all Hotel guests, providing guests with directions about the Hotel and dealing with guests’ complaints and questions.
Register guests into the Hotel, ensuring all relevant details are obtained and recorded in the system
Attend to guest queries and complaints in as far as possible/authorized and when needed refer to the Management
Control daily departures allowing smooth check-out according to Hotel’s standards and procedures
Maintain accurate control of guest room keys
Take over reservations when the Reservation office is closed or in the absence of the team
