As a Sr Buyer for Fashion will be critical to the success of the company. As a Sr Buyer for Fashion brands, your main responsibility would be to ensure that the company stays competitive in the market by procuring high-quality products that meet the needs of customers. Your job description may include the following:
Dealing with principal brands: You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and brands that offer premium fashion products. This will involve negotiating terms, ensuring timely deliveries, and managing any issues that arise with suppliers.
Market research: You will need to conduct market research to identify current and emerging trends in the fashion industry. This will help you identify new products and suppliers that can offer unique and desirable products to the company's customers.
Forecasting: Based on your research, you will be responsible for forecasting demand for different products and categories. This will help the company make informed decisions about which products to procure and how much inventory to maintain.
Pricing strategy: You will work closely with the company's pricing team to ensure that products are priced competitively and profitably. This may involve negotiating prices with suppliers and analyzing sales data to optimize pricing.
Product selection: You will be responsible for selecting the products that the company will sell, based on your market research and forecasting. This will involve evaluating product quality, design, and pricing, and selecting the products that will best meet the needs of the company's customers.
Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role (preferred)
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
