KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS:
• Create and maintain a production plan across the planning horizon that delivers the sales plan and is balanced for capacity
• Understand the end-to-end supply chain processes, capacities, lead times and bottlenecks to ensure an efficient plan
• Communicate the strategic decisions across functional and business units regarding demand and supply balancing, inventory management, long range planning and the implementation of lifecycle changes into the supply chain
• Communicate on overall product strategy to Supply Chain to ensure alignment with key stakeholders (e.g. Production, Quality, logistics, Sales and Senior leadership)
• Ensure supply planning impact is acknowledged by all stakeholders and achieve optimal demand/supply balancing
• Perform set scheduling of work orders in consideration of key constraints
• Maximize operational efficiency, quality and reliability through optimal scheduling of production assets
• oversee supply and inventory balance for imported items
• Replenish products using netted demand in support of inventory targets
• Identify, negotiate, and bring to resolution any demand/supply imbalances working with the Plant Management
• Develop plans and contingencies for ensuring stable supply for the introduction of new products and/or implementation of product lifecycle changes
• Support continuous improvement to drive expanded capabilities, improve the efficiency of existing processes and enable cost reduction.
• Collect and organize data to inform decisions and/or action plans that support program / process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience
Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or supply chain Management or relevant
Knowledge & Skills:
• Proven experience in using MRP/ERP Systems
• Fulfillment operations experience (forecasting, planning, order management, inventory control and logistics)
• Detail oriented
• Very Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to solve problems and create solutions
• Strong process / system background
• Ability to drive improvements in new processes/systems
• Proficient and supply and demand planning
