We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growth.
Job Title: IT Sales Representative
Job Summary: As an IT Security Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, as well as maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients. Your primary goal is to sell the company's IT security products and services, ensuring that clients have robust cybersecurity measures in place to protect their data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
• Identify potential clients and leads in the target market.
• Cold-call, network, and use various sales techniques to generate new business opportunities.
2. Consultative Selling:
• Understand the cybersecurity needs and challenges of prospective clients.
• Recommend appropriate IT security solutions to address specific client requirements.
3. Product Knowledge:
• Stay up-to-date on the company's IT security products and services.
• Explain technical features and benefits to non-technical clients.
4. Sales Presentations:
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's cybersecurity solutions.
5. Proposal Development:
• Create and present customized proposals and quotes to potential clients.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive proposals.
6. Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, addressing their concerns and needs.
7. Sales Targets:
• Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales objectives.
8. Market Research:
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Use market research to identify opportunities and threats.
9. Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and progress updates to management.
10. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute sales campaigns.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record in IT security or technology sales.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
• Relevant industry certifications may be a plus.
