Description


Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Handle the data entry of accounting general journal to maintain the balance sheet schedules;
2. Collect, record, verify, and otherwise process accounting transactions and documents as required for the processing of accounts payable, statements, purchase orders, and work sheets;
3. Establish and maintain account, prepare monthly journal entries and accounting corrections to ensure accurate accounting records, and check general ledger from books of detail entries;
4. Prepare VAT, Income taxes, Payroll and NSSF reports;
5. Handle the bank day to day relation and online account review in addition to cash withdrawal;
6. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted;
7. Prepare reconciliation of banks, suppliers and creditors accounts;
8. Perform monthly customers reconciliations;
9. Prepare monthly Rebates;
10. Settle the invoices related to the collections;
11. Review and handle accounts payables & receivables;
12. Ensure proper follow-up on collection;
13. Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ issues;
14. Facilitate payment of due invoices by sending bill reminders and contacting clients;
15. Participate in the month & year-end closing procedures, including the reconciliation of asset, liability, equity and expense accounts;
16. Provide Auditors with needed supporting documents and information on internal process;
17. Utilize the computerized system in record keeping and accountancy / updating the system within the security limits set to ensure the availability of updated information;
18. Comply with legal requirements & fiscal law;
19. Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data;
20. Other duties as assigned.

Educational Background and Experience:

- BA or TS in Accounting/Finance with 3 to 4 years of experience in similar role
