• Manage the daily processing and maintenance of IT operations.
• Develop IT security policies & procedures in order to manage IT risks, ensure and enhance the overall system’s security.
• Ensure that all users have a proper understanding of the repercussions of IT security breaches.
• Develop and implement suitable measures and guidelines for data integrity, confidentiality of access and protection of users’ applications from viruses.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans of IT infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure that all programs undergo regular verification, checking and debugging to eliminate any accidents.
• Ensure that backups are made at the end of every working day to avoid any risk of loss, sabotage or destruction of data.
• Monitor the performance of the network and troubleshoot any problem such as slow performance or network crashes.
• Maintain a detailed inventory of all IT equipment.
• Prepare and submit reports on IT activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure continuous and proper functioning of the Company's IT applications.
• Negotiate and communicate with third-party software providers for new software's and troubleshooting.
• Manage and coordinate activities in his/her supervision.
• Set up the yearly plan and budget for his/her department and submit to General Manager for review and approval.
• Live and disseminate company’s values and promote a culture of performance and integrity.
• Develop team skills and learning capabilities through a formal development roadmap; seek to acquire new talent breed and identify high potentials within teams.
• Set targeted and formal training plans for employees within his/her department; coach and develop subordinates; promote a culture of excellence and continuous development and seek to retain high performers.
• Initiate requests for recruitment campaigns within his/her department on a need basis and ensure optimal staffing levels at all times. Conduct final interviews and select best fit candidates in conjunction with HR Manager.
• Monitor and take necessary measures to enhance performance of subordinates within his/her department; make sure performance appraisals are administered on a timely basis.
• Monitor all direct costs related to this/her department, release payments as per authority matrix and advise management on working capital requirements.
• Coordinate and ensure effective communication between departments to achieve company’s objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
• 10+ years of experience in related field
• Excellent knowledge in ERP, Operating systems, networks, database management systems and programming languages.

• Languages: read, speak and write in English and Arabic.
