As a senior lighting designer, you will lead and manage the lighting design process for a wide range of projects.
You will work closely with clients, architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to create innovative and functional lighting solutions that meet the project's requirements and objectives.

Responsibilities:
Conceptualize Lighting Designs: Develop creative lighting concepts that enhance the aesthetics and functionality of spaces, considering the project's purpose, ambiance, and energy efficiency.
Project Management: Lead and manage the lighting design process from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, interior designers, electrical engineers, and other professionals to integrate lighting seamlessly into the overall design.
Lighting Layout and Specification: Create detailed lighting plans, specifying fixtures, controls, and other equipment required for the project. Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
Fixture Selection: Select appropriate lighting fixtures based on project requirements, considering factors such as color temperature, intensity, beam angles, and sustainability.
Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-efficient lighting solutions, incorporating LED technology and control systems to minimize energy consumption and environmental impact.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and provide cost-effective lighting solutions without compromising design quality.
Documentation: Create comprehensive lighting design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules for contractors and installers.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that the installation and implementation of lighting designs meet the established standards and design intent through site visits and coordination with contractors.
Technological Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with advancements in lighting technology, control systems, and software tools relevant to the field.
Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and expectations and provide updates on project progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. A master’s degree may be preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in lighting design, including a portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in lighting design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Dialux or similar.
Familiarity with 3D modeling and visualization tools like Photoshop, Lumion and 3D max.
Strong knowledge of lighting fixtures, control systems, and electrical systems.
Understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability principles.
