As a Filing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and organizing financial records, invoices, and other important documents. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficiency of our finance department by ensuring accurate and timely filing of financial paperwork, providing support to the accounting team, and assisting in various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Filing:
*Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for financial documents.
*Ensure all financial records are accurately labeled, filed, and easily retrievable.
Support Accounting Team:
*Collaborate with the accounting department to assist in organizing and maintaining financial data.
*Provide support during audits by ensuring all necessary documents are readily available.
Data Entry:
*Enter and update financial data into appropriate databases and systems.
*Verify the accuracy of information before entry to maintain data integrity.
Record Maintenance:
*Maintain an organized record of financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and other relevant documents.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding record-keeping.
Communication:
*Liaise with other departments to collect and organize financial documents as needed.
*Respond to inquiries from internal staff and external partners regarding filed documents.
Qualifications:
*High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in accounting or a related field is a plus.
