1 Manage the food FMCG sections of the store to deliver expected sales growth through high standards of display, quality and availability.
2 Provide strategic direction and leadership to the FMCG team to support the company's brand strategy.
3 To monitor the productivity levels of the Merchandising Team by reviewing the Merchandiser Control sheets, as well as Sales and Expiry reports for individual outlets
4 Schedule and chair daily meetings with the merchandising team to discuss, merchandising, sales promotion, administration, and people issues.
5 Should be aware of all ongoing and forthcoming promotional activities and to plan accordingly to ensure successful implementation, execution, and follow up.
6 Track Purchasing activity and measurements.
7 Creating planograms to display products.
8 Conduct frequent reviews of the shop floor displays and coach the FMCG team to deliver consistently high standards that exceeds customer expectations and respond to seasonal needs.
9 Ensuring that shelves are fully stocked with correct product.
10 Overseeing the planning and implementation of merchandising strategies.
11 Creating eye-catching store layouts that showcase the brand and aesthetic of the company.
12 Identifying trends and monitoring supply and demand.
13 Tracking inventory movement and systematically introducing promotions and sales.
14 Manage the responsibility for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures in the Minimarket, butchery and Dairy section.
15 Perform all other duties as delegated by the top management, or as per business requirements.
