Description


Responsibilities:

Manage and support both hardware and software systems, ensuring their optimal performance and functionality.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware components such as servers, storage devices, and networking equipment.
Install, configure, and maintain software systems, including operating systems, database management systems, and application software, with a focus on Oracle technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
Collaborate with other IT and business teams to develop and implement technology solutions that align with organizational goals and strategies.
Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet the organization's evolving technological needs.
Monitor system performance, security, and capacity, implementing necessary adjustments and improvements.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in working with hardware components such as servers, storage devices, and networking equipment.
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and managing Oracle database systems, including Oracle Database, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and related technologies.
Strong understanding of software systems, including operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and application software.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies, cloud computing, and containerization would be beneficial.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) would be advantageous.
