Job Summary
The Senior Auditor will be a critical team member, responsible for executing detailed financial, operational, and compliance audits. This role involves collaborating with the audit team, assessing internal controls, and delivering valuable recommendations for improvement.
Responsibilities
• Audit Planning and Execution
o Develop and execute risk-based audit plans and programs.
o Conduct thorough financial, operational, and compliance audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
o Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying weaknesses and areas for improvement.
o Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
• Reporting and Documentation
o Prepare comprehensive audit reports, summarizing findings, recommendations, and supporting evidence.
o Review and approve audit workpapers and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
o Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of audit projects.
o Assist in the development and maintenance of audit policies and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement
o Stay informed about industry regulations, emerging risks, and best practices.
o Contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and processes.
o Actively participate in training and development initiatives within the audit team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA certification required, LCPA certification preferred.
• CIA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in auditing with a focus on financial and operational processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic languages for reporting purposes.
• French language is a plus.
