We are seeking an experienced Information Technologist with expertise in both hardware and software, particularly in Oracle-based systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and development of our organization's hardware infrastructure and Oracle-based software systems. This role will involve both technical support and strategic planning to optimize our technology resources.


Install, configure, and maintain hardware components such as servers, storage devices, and network equipment.
Manage and monitor the performance of hardware systems to ensure optimal operation and availability.
Administer and maintain Oracle-based software systems, including installation, configuration, and database management.
Collaborate with software developers and database administrators to optimize and enhance Oracle-based applications and databases.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, both proactively and reactively.
Ensure the security and integrity of hardware and software systems, including backup and disaster recovery processes.
Evaluate technology trends and make recommendations for hardware and software upgrades and advancements.
Develop and maintain documentation for hardware and software configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Assist in the planning and execution of technology projects and initiatives, with a focus on Oracle-based solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience in hardware maintenance and support, including servers, storage, and networking infrastructure.
Strong proficiency in Oracle-based software systems, including Oracle Database, Oracle Applications, and related technologies.
Familiarity with database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in Oracle environments.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, database administrators, and end-users.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technology support and maintenance.
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications in hardware or Oracle technologies are a plus.
