Description


Position Summary
Responsible for adopting a proactive approach and responsibility in providing
a professional service ensuring a high level of technical support and advice at
all times to OMT employees. Accountable for handling systems, hardware,
equipment & connectivity related requests/issues.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
HelpDesk Support
• Responds to Employees’ Support requests in a timely manner
• Receives, evaluates & troubleshoots case problems
• Provides technical support on phone or remotely & updates system
database accordingly
• Creates/updates technical documentations & procedures after
validation & approval of Direct Manager
Systems & equipment installations
• Installs and upgrades both systems and application software as
required adhering to all licensing regulations
• Installs, configures, maintains, upgrades and repairs a wide range of
ICT equipment, software & tools used by employees (printers, PCs,
etc…)
ICT Suppliers & Stock
• Takes charge of the ICT stock and coordinates with the related
suppliers

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualifications:
• University Degree or TS degree in ICT

Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in English and Arabic; French is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Advanced knowledge in PC installation & repair, hardware
peripherals
• Proven experience in IT support functions

Relevant Experience:
• 1-3 years
