We are looking for an Area Manager to join our team
Responsibilities :
• Reviews and analyzes sales, compares them, finds reasons for increase or decrease and writes a report with an action plan on how to improve.
• Studies a LSM for each unit and elaborates a plan with a calendar.
• Reviews all training records, ensures that all units have the proper training materials and plans an annual training calendar.
• Completes daily, weekly & monthly schedule of tasks, activities, programs and initiatives.
• Maintains and improves QSC standards in his stores, as well as display of all products.
• Maintains adherence to Wooden Bakery standards and policies at all times, in particular freshness of breads and all other products.
• Increases sales by setting Local Stores Marketing Plan in coordination with the Marketing department and assists in its execution.
• Sets a challenge for his stores managers to increase sales through guests’ satisfaction and building customer loyalty.
• Monitors the P&L of each store and makes sure that financials are well managed.
• Spot Checks visitations for inventory count approved products used and sold, looks for any discrepancies and takes corrective action against any deviation.
• Encourages and pushes the sales for all Wooden Bakery products.
• Coordinate with the training department to ensure that all managers & staff are trained to the required standards, providing appropriate training & development plans for all and ensuring completion.
• Conducts appraisals of managers regularly meeting with them to set common goals, and delegates key tasks to them to maximize their potentials.
• Maintains excellent communications with stores managers, and healthy relations with his superiors discussing with them any pending issues related to the job.
• Motivating and supporting store managers with specific issues, such as staffing and business management.
• Acting as a link between head office and store managers.
• Communicates to his superiors all related reports and necessary documents on a daily basis (business developments and challenges in their area).
• Develop written action plan to correct all deviations found in the SEC and flash visits reports
• Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

Requirements :
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• BA degree in Business Administration from a reputable university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of retail or hospitality with 2 years in a similar positions
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, presentation, and marketing skills
• Fluent in English and Arabic languages, French is an asset
