Description


We are seeking an experienced Trade Development Executive to join our team in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.

A Trade Development Executive plays a key role in contributing to driving the growth and expansion of the company.
The role focuses on identifying and maximizing trade opportunities by seeking out untapped or underutilized areas. By analysing market gaps, understanding consumer behaviour, and highlighting distribution expansion opportunities to ensure that FMCG products are available in all relevant locations, the goal is to bridge the “white gaps” in availability and visibility, making sure that products reach the right stores and customers efficiently and are displayed adequately. This role requires a deep understanding of the FMCG industry, market trends, and the ability to build strong relationships with trade partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Daily field presence across the whole territory to identify distribution white gaps and sales opportunities to sustain business growth.
• Analysing customer trends, needs and competitor information to identify trends and to conclude valuable insights; proposing solutions aimed at enhancing competitiveness and market positioning.
• Assisting in identifying and securing new distribution opportunities and merchandising support across key accounts and trade channels
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure proper implementation of the route to market
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with trade partners, such as retailers, distributors, and wholesalers, to ensure optimal product placement and promotional activities

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, or Management
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the FMCG industry
• In-depth knowledge of FMCG market dynamics, trade channels, and consumer behaviour
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Regularly communicate with concerned internal and external parties, using proper oral and written communication to fulfill the duties and to ensure process efficiency
• Ability to think critically and creatively
• Enjoys field work and high mobility
• Very Good command of English
• Self-motivated, initiative-taking, ambitious, aspiring to additional future responsibilities in the Sales field
