Description


The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
•Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment, including motors, transformers, generators, lighting systems, and control panels.
•Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical systems and equipment.
•Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and diagnose issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques.
•Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to identify and resolve electrical problems.
•Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement solutions for electrical system upgrades, modifications, and improvements.
•Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements when working with electrical systems, including lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash protection, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
•Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
•Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for specialized repairs, installations, and procurement of electrical components and supplies.
•Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in electrical technology to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
•Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical competencies and stay updated on relevant codes and standards.


Qualifications:
•Associate degree or certification in electrical technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
•Proven experience as an electrical engineer or similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
•Strong knowledge of electrical principles, theories, and codes, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
•Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment using various tools and instruments, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers.
•Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and industrial automation systems is a plus.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
•Ability to work safely and follow established safety procedures, including knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices.
•Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.
