Description


The International Maritime Academy is seeking a Receptionist/Gym Coordinator to join our team. The Receptionist/Gym Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating gym programs, services, and class schedules, as well as greeting students and visitors, and providing directions to various parts of the academy. Additionally, they will handle tasks such as answering phones, taking messages, sorting and distributing mail, data entry for contact and attendance, and filing documents.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

•Be fully conversant with and be able to sell and promote all services and facilities available to members.
•Coordinating pool schedules and ensuring that instructors are always available.
•Providing customer service by answering questions about gym and pool memberships.
•Answer the phone promptly and respectfully and direct calls to the correct office.
•Manage both digital and hardcopy filing systems.
•Receive, assist, and direct company visitors to the concerned office.
•Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary updating visitor logs, and performing health and safety induction and contractor’s agreement accordingly.
•Make sure that the reception area is kept clean and in good condition.
•Communicate student requests/claims to the enrollment office for execution.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
•High School Diploma or 1 to 2 years experience in a related field
•Good communication skills
•Strong analytical skills
•Language proficiency especially in English
•Trustworthy
•1 or 2 years of experience in customer service.
