Job Description
Junior Logistics officer
• Maintaining documentation in an orderly and systematic filing system.
• Informs the Logistic Officer of any discrepancy in the accounting for the stock held.
• Measuring and monitoring logistics operations through key performance indicators.
• Identify and report for any exceptional cases during the order follow up process
• Keep logs and records of all transactions to prepare accurate reports for upper management.
• Track and monitor shipments to determine the shipment status and ensure safe and on time delivery.
• Search and implement appropriate shipping techniques, routing, and logistics procedures.
• Review, prepare, and manage orders deliveries to reach destinations on schedule.
• Address shipment and procurement problems such as delays and inaccuracies according to the company rules and regulations.
• Prepare and manage paperwork for shipments and regulatory bodies when needed.
• Generate and develop reports on shipments movements and other operational activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• 4+ Years of experience in the field.
• Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
• Decision making skills.
• A great ability to work in team
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to details, strong time management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to perform duties diligently, particularly during stressful periods.
