KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Allocate Proforma Invoices across banks in coordination with Trade Finance Unit
•Manage Naira transfers between Nigeria Banks across all companies
•Ensure no transactions are pending with the Banks
•Review and confirm Account Maintenance Fee calculation (AMF)
•Handling the sourcing of Foreign Exchange (USD)
•Manage the Bank Accounts balances to ensure accurate funding
•Maintain a database of exporters as well as third parties as a source of Foreign Exchange (FX).
•Coordinate with the Trade Department for any excess in USD and manage its reallocation
•To report to the Corporate Control Unit on monthly basis, the updated list of Exporters and Third Parties.
•Manage Retail Loans if available
•Coordinate with Corporate Control Unit and with Banks to secure Hedging deals(NDF and Forward)
•Manage and maintain a proper file for the NDF and Forward Deals
•Arrange on time submission to Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Retail Window after coordination with Trade Finance Department, as well as accounts funding for this purpose
•Maintain healthy professional relationships with bank employees across all Departments (Branches, Trade, Treasury, etc…)
•Review all daily transactions pertaining to the Treasury Unit and sign the related Daily Journal Operations for filing.
•Additional duties maybe assigned as per management request.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Minimum 4 Years of relevant experience
•Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Finance , Business Administration or any related Field
•Master’s Degree or a specialized certification is preferred
•Knowledge in all types of LCs
•Good understanding of the whole cash management Cycle.
•Good understanding of the banks trade finance policies and procedures.
•Knowledge of financial concepts and statistical/analytical methods and ability to use data effectively to develop, implement and manage operational plans and actions.
•Proficiency in MS Excel and MS office suites.
•Strong understanding of ERP environment (SAP, Oracle, etc.)is preferable.
